SECRET OF MODI’S SUCCESS – SAATVIK FOOD, YOGA & EXERCISE : BRITISH BOOK

NEW DELHI-– Noted international writers & jurists Dr. Adish C Aggarwala and Ms.Sarah J Marchington have dedicated their 672 paged coffee table book weighing 5 kilograms on Japanese matte art paper published in Thailand titled “Narendra Modi – A Charismatic & Visionary Statesman” published by U.K. Publishers & Distributors, London, “to the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi towards the transformation of the lives of underprivileged citizens of India.”

Narendra Damodardas Modi became India’s 14th Prime Minister in May 2014, as a through a landslide victory in a seismic national election. He attained an iconic status and the stature has only grown with time, in India and beyond. In just over a year of becoming the Prime Minister of the world’s largest democracy, he succeeded in making a global impact through a number of bold policy initiatives on domestic as well as foreign affairs. Today, he dominates every discussion and debate on political as well as socio-economic concerns in India. This is not only because he is the head of the executive establishment, but purely due to his influence on the contemporary state of affairs.

With the dogmatic pursuit of the agenda of development, Narendra Modi returned to power in the State of Gujarat for an unprecedented fourth consecutive term as the Chief Minister. His rise as a true leader of the masses was unprecedented. Never before has India seen a leader who the public paid to listen to in election rallies. Even Muslim leaders acknowledge that under Modi, Muslims in Gujarat were much safer than in any other part of India. True to his election promise, Prime Minister Modi is working hard for the overall development of the country. Hence, making a notable departure from the past, even his foreign policy focuses on business diplomacy, so as to make India the global hub for foreign investment.

For News Of Modi

The book is among the rare works and has painstakingly covered the journey of Modi right from his early childhood days, till held the reins of the country. It has spanned each significant event and chronicled the myriad influences that shaped his ideology and thought process.

The book has been appreciated in political circles for its dispassionate coverage and candid biographical account providing deep and remarkable insights into the life led by Modi and his illustrious growth to distinction as one of the most sought after world leaders.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unique lifestyle comprising of a strict regimen of yoga, exercise and saatvik food is the secret behind his indefatigable energy and phenomenal success, say noted international writers and jurists Dr. Adish C Aggarwala and Sarah J Marchngton in their book “Narendra Modi – A Charismatic & Visionary Statesman”.

The Authors, in the last chapter of biography have said:

“Here is an unusual Prime Minister, unlike any that the country has seen in the past seven decades. The differences between Narendra Modi and others begin with his daily schedule and routine. He gets up early, and sleeps late. Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President, joked that Narendra Modi doesn't sleep, and doesn't allow his ministers to do so. It's now established that the Prime Minister is awake by 4 a.m. After the morning chores, he immerses himself in Surya Namaskar, Pranayam and other Yoga exercises. He does this every morning without fail, and this is the key to his fitness, energy levels, ability to multitask, and rush from one subject to another, one individual to another, and one meeting to another.

The fitness routine is followed by tea with ginger, which is a form of a Gujarati Special Tea. The former chai wallah (tea seller) loves his morning cup of tea. After some routine work in between, breakfast is served at 8 a.m., and is generally light with some boiled and roasted items. This is followed by reading time – Modi loves to read English and Gujarati newspapers. Apart from this, each morning he goes through the piles of positive and negative articles published about him and his policies in all the country's national and regional newspapers. Media trackers in each ministry reach their offices by 6:00 a.m. so that they can send the specific media coverage by 8:00 a.m. to Modi's residence.

If he is in New Delhi, the Prime Minister is in his office by 9 a.m. Not a minute early, not a minute late. This is why he expects every bureaucrat, especially the senior ones, to be in their offices by the same time. Unlike most Prime Ministers, who preferred to work out of their residences, Narendra Modi always works from his office. He also walks to the office. The next 150 minutes are spent on governance and running of the nation – meetings, and checking files and other reports.

Lunch time is early, at 11.30 a.m. As we said earlier, the Prime Minister has his own cook, who takes care of the kitchens at his residence and the PMO. Modi loves Gujarati and South Indian food – Kadhi-Khichdi,Upma, Bakhri and Kakhra. As we can see, the food isn't heavy but enough to provide him with the energy to work for the next ten-and-a-half hours. Lunch is followed by more work, more meetings, more files, and more governance. The Prime Minister doesn't waste a minute and is adept at multi-tasking.

Dinner is served at 10 p.m. He likes to watch TV while he is having his night meal. He generally flips through news channels, and sees the TV debates on contemporary or the day's news events. Thus, both in the morning and night, he keeps in touch with media reports and news. At the same time, as he flips through channels, he checks his emails, and replies to each one of them. The mails may be personal or professional, from a minister or a fan. Just before he retires for the day at 1 a.m., he makes a few calls to friends and family. This is his only personalised time when he doesn't think of the nation.

Apart from the daily routine, the differences between Narendra Modi and other Prime Ministers lie in his A-Team, which comprises technocrats-turned-bureaucrats, and people who are experts in the arena of politics and governance. From Amit Shah to Ajit Doval, Nripendra Misra to Dr. Hiren Joshi, the loyalists are achievers and doers. They work as hard as the Prime Minister, and with similar commitment, passion, fervour and hard work. The loyalists share Modi's dreams and visions. They want to build a New India for the 21st Century, which is respected and revered throughout the world.”
