Lucknow desk ( R L Pandey).The Department of Commerce in association with Institute of Women's Studies, University of Lucknow organized a special workshop on the topic "Skill Development in Entrepreneurship " under the fifth phase of Mission Shakti, an ambitious scheme that plays an important role in women self-reliant and respect for women and their empowerment of Uttar Pradesh.

In this, the CEO and founder of Inner Soul Well Being Private Limited, Mr. Gaurav Srivastava was present as the keynote speaker. In his keynote address, he explained the difference between start-ups and business to the audience and stressed the need for start-ups in India and asked questions related to this from the audience. In his address, he inspired the students for entrepreneurship and innovation with the success stories of famous industrialists of India like Late Ratan Tata, Late Dhirubhai Ambani. He told how new investors can solve the main problem of start-ups i.e. the arrangement of finance. For this, he told the audience about the available services like government schemes, incubation centers, crowd funding, bank loans run by the government.  
The welcome address was presented by Prof. Ram Milan, Head, Department of Commerce. The program was successfully co-ordinated by Dr. Akriti Jaiswal, the coordinator of Mission Shakti in the department. Many teachers and students of the department including Dean CDC Prof. Audhesh Kumar, Dr. Sunita Srivastava were present in the program. The vote of thanks was given by Prof. Audhesh Kumar.
