Indian Premier League 2025 Mega Auction : The suspense over the mega auction for the Indian Premier League 2025 is over. The mega auction will be held on 24 and 25 November in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. A total of 1574 players from India and abroad have registered their names in this auction. Out of these 1574 players, bids will be placed on only 204 players.

There are 1165 Indian, 409 foreign and 30 associate country players for the auction. Players from a total of 14 countries have registered their names for IPL 2025. For the mega auction to be held for IPL 2025, the highest number of 91 players have been registered from South Africa. Australia is at second place in this list. 76 players from Australia have put their names in the mega auction. England is at number three from where a total of 52 players have registered themselves in the auction. Apart from this, a total of 39 players from New Zealand will enter the mega auction.

At the same time, 29-29 players from Afghanistan and Sri Lanka have registered themselves for the mega auction. Apart from this, 13 players from Bangladesh and a total of 12 players from the Netherlands have registered themselves for the auction. The names of 10 players from America, 9 players from Ireland and a player from Canada are included in the auction list.

Apart from this, one player each from UAE and Italy are also included. A total of 46 players have been retained by all the teams before the mega auction for IPL 2025. Punjab Kings has retained the least number of players in retention, retaining two players. This is the reason why the Punjab Kings team is preparing to enter the auction with a purse of 110 crores.
