Facebook group Lucknow Connection Worldwide had organised an online contest of poetry-writing and story-writing ‘Kahani / Kavita Pratiyogita-2’. 

The entire process of collection, evaluation and judgement of the entries was done online. But the results were announced only in an offline event. The entire process was managed by the local members of the group like Ms Kavita Misra (also the convenor of the contest) and Mr Pradeep Kumar Sharma with the support and guidance of admins, Mr Anil Shukla, Ms Madhu Srivastava, Ms Rashmi Mishra and senior members and mentors like Dr Shobha Bajpai, Mr Rajeev Verma ‘Vatsal’ and Mr Rajeev Saxena |

The prizes were announced and awarded on Sunday 28th January, 2024 at Raj Darbar, Lalbagh, Lucknow. All the participants were either present at the event or they were represented by a friend or family member who could collect the certificate and the award on their behalf. The chief guest was Writer, thinker, political analyst and senior journalist Shri Dayanand Pandey. More than 50 members of the group attended the event and had a fun-filled evening reciting poetry, singing and dancing to the tunes of old and new Bollywood numbers |
