Lucknow। A Fire Evacuation Drill under guidance of Fire department Lucknow, was conducted at Circle Office premises on 01-12-2023 at 1100 hrs. Fire Drill was followed by detailed lecture on Fire Incident Management and demonstration on usage of fire extinguishers.
The Fire Security Officer Shri Shivdaras Prasad, Gomti Nagar and Canara Bank Lucknow Circle Head Shri Alok kumar Agarwal evaluated the Mock drill at building. The Circle Security Officer Major Meenakshi Choudhary (Retd) welcomed the guest observers and participants gathered. The Circle Head Shri Alok kumar emphasised on importance of regular Fire mock drills and procedures. Thereafter, the FSO described few incidents of fire that the department had controlled and managed in recent past. He briefed about various reasons for Fire incidents, Fire related precautions, types of Fire and Fire extinguishers. He explained in detail how to control household fire in gas cylinders followed by Demonstration of all kinds of fire extinguishers. The entire staff of Canara bank present enthusiastically practised the usage of extinguishers on live fire. Deputy General Manager Shri Sanjay Kumar thanked the Fire department team for a detailed and live lecture cum Demonstration.
