Lucknow। International Literacy Day is celebrated at SKD Academy on September 8th each year to highlight the importance of literacy as a fundamental human right and the foundation for lifelong learning. This year, the theme is "Empowering Minds, Transforming Lives," emphasizing the transformative power of literacy in individuals and communities.

On this occasion students write slogans and presented skits, plays and gave message of help more people to educate, Read to lead: Empower through literacy.

Director Shri Manish Singh Ji addressed and said literacy is not merely the ability to read and write; it is a tool for personal and societal development. On this International Literacy Day, we acknowledge the significance of literacy in fostering inclusive and sustainable societies. Literacy equips individuals with the skills they need to access knowledge, make informed decisions, and participate actively in their communities. ‘So today a reader, tomorrow a leader’.
