Uttar Pradesh desk Lucknow (R L Pandey).An online workshop is organized by the Department of Psychology, University of Lucknow entitled as “Snehashish” for the preparation of students applying for UGC-NET/ JRF examination. It is a seven-day online workshop that will run from 23.05.2024 to 29.05.2024. Each day of the workshop will consist of two sessions from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM respectively. The objective of this workshop is to provide guidance to the aspirants of UGC-NET for the upcoming examination. To benefit the students,
this workshop will be provided free of cost. The workshop is organized under the patronage of Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, Vice Chancellor; Convenor Dr. Archana Shukla, Organizing Secretary Dr. Megha Singh and Dr. Hansika Singhal, Assistant Professor, Department of Psychology, University of Lucknow. 
The Guest of honor for the Inaugural session is Dean Faculty of Arts, Prof. Arvind Awasthi and Dean Students’ Welfare, Prof. Sangeeta Sahu would be the Special guest. Around 100 students have registered for this workshop and thirteen esteemed speakers will be participating in the event who will shed light on different topics such as Indian paradigms of Psychology, Bhagwad Gita, Experimental designs, Human Cognition , Biopsychology, Buddhism and Sufism, Therapies etc. 
The speakers of all the sessions are NET-JRF qualified alumni of the Department of Psychology, University of Lucknow, Lucknow, currently placed in top- rated institutes such as IGNOU, Christ University and Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith to name a few. They will present an interactive platform where the aspirants will discuss about their doubts or queries. They will guide the aspirants and clarify the difficult topics of frequently asked questions in the UGC-NET examination. The Department of Psychology hopes that this workshop will equip the students with valuable knowledge and skills.
