Lucknow desk (R L Pandey).Dr. U.S. Singh, Professor and Head of the Department of Pathology at King George's Medical University (KGMU), Lucknow, has achieved a remarkable feat in the world of sports.
As a Para Olympian, Dr. Singh participated in the FESPIC Games held in Oita City, Japan in 1975, and the International Games for Disabled Persons held in Kyoto, Japan in 1981. He won prestigious gold and bronze medals in Soft Ball Throw, 100 Metre Race, and Table Tennis.
