Adamya, The Street Theater and Social Awareness Society of the University of Lucknow, gave a musical drama and performance.
Then, to further elicit personal experiences involving mothers, a game of Passing the Parcel was played. In this game, Assistant Professor Dr. Manini Srivastava shared her mother's experience of single-handedly bringing up two children and giving up her illustrious musical career.
Subject expert Dr. Archana Vashishtha said ," Mother is a feeling which we can only feel but can not be expressed in words." In her concluding remark, Dr. Archana Shukla, Head, Department of Psychology, said that programs like these help us to know the students better and enhance our bonding with them. Furthering her thoughts, she said- "God can not be everywhere that's why he created mothers." This event was attended by more than 50 people including faculty members, subject experts and JRFs. They recited poems, narratives, and anecdotes based on their mothers. It was followed by a cake cutting ceremony. It was a mix of nostalgic moments, sweet memories and lots of fun, and laughter.
