Lucknow, 07/11/2024: The Department of Mathematics & Statistics of Intergal University, Lucknow, a NAAC A+ accredited institution orgnaised the inaugural function of the three-day International Conference on Advances in Geometry, Algebra, Analysis & Artificial Intelligence, on 7th Oct 2024, sponsored by SERB and CSIR. The conference aims at exploring cutting-edge developments in geometric structures, algebraic theories, and analytical methods, and the integration of AI techniques in solving complex mathematical problems. Hon’ble Chancellor and Founder Prof. S. W. Akhtar congratulated the participants and said that this is the manifestation of the university’s mission to align with global standards of excellence in research and innovation.

Pro-Chancellor Dr. Syed Nadeem Akhtar in his address said, “this conference reflects our commitment to adopt new ideas in geometry, algebra, analysis, and artificial intelligence which will shape the future of research and advancing knowledge and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration for global progress. " Vice Chancellor Prof. Javed Musarrat said, “these initiatives are meant to push the boundaries of knowledge and innovation, and by bringing together leading experts, this event will undoubtedly pave the way for groundbreaking advancements in geometry and AI”.

Chief Guest, Prof. Zafar Ahsan talked about the fusion of mathematics and artificial intelligence which promises to drive the next wave of innovation, and Guest of Honor Prof. Ayman Badawi also highlighted the importance of the event While Prof. Aquil Ahmad, advisor to Hon’ble Chancellor emphasized the significance of the event, Prof. Mohammad Haris Siddiqui, Registrar, gave a brief introduction of the university, and Prof.

Abdul Rahman Khan, Controller of Examinations, welcomed the guests and participants. Prof. Mobin Ahmad, Convener and Head, Department of Mathematics & Statistics delivered the vote of thanks and Dr. Nisha Khanam, assistant professor, conducted the event.
