Inspirational Women in HR: Making a Difference

On this International HR Day, we celebrated women empowerment and leadership, the WICCI UP HR Council organized an inspiring event titled "Inspirational Women in HR: Making a Difference." Held at HROnTips by JSimple, along with media partner, Aapkikhabar news. This remarkable occasion honored the achievements and contributions of women in the HR field.

The highlight of the event was the presence of our distinguished guest of honor, Ms. Shreshtha Gupta, Executive Vice President, IT & Digital at the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), and Director & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of NSDC International. Her insightful words and dynamic leadership serve as a beacon for women striving to excel in their careers.

The event commenced with a warm welcome speech by Sqn Ldr Dimple Rawat (retd.), Vice President of the WICCI UP HR Council. She introduced the council's mission and objectives, emphasizing the importance of women's upliftment in the corporate world. This was followed by a heartfelt address from the State President, Shaifaly Sangal, who expressed her gratitude to all attendees and supporters of the event.

In a gesture of appreciation, the WICCI UP HR Council felicitated around 13 remarkable women from the corporate sector who have made significant contributions and left an indelible mark in their respective fields. Additionally, eight dedicated members from the council were recognized for their relentless efforts and initiatives aimed at promoting women's development and empowerment.

Among the honored awardees were  Ms. Divya Mishra, Country HR Head for India at Landis+Gyr, Kalpana Razdan, Aeon Head of Corporate Human Resources at Infotel Group, Mansi Joshi, Assistant Vice President of Human Resources at SIB, Ms. Pooja Arora, Deputy General Manager Sales HR, Maruti, Ms. Ruchi Gera, Head of HR at Gateway Distriparks, Ms. Rashmi Mansharamani, Chief Human Resources Officer, Wave Group, Ms. Supriya Sharma, Associate Director in Human Resources, Emerson, Ms. Supriya Kalra, Associate Director of HR, DIN Engineering Services, Ms. Sharmilaa Thakur, HR thought leader, Bereau Veritas, Ms.  Suruchi Bhatia: HR business partnering, Ms. Usha Srivastava : Head of Human Resources, Vodafone Idea, Ms. Shailly Purohit :  Associate Director HRAssociate Director HR, Sopra Steria, whose exceptional work has set a high standard for others to follow. Each awardee's story was a testament to resilience, hard work, and the impact that women can make in the workplace.

Among WICCI members, we rewarded efforts of Ms. Meena Sharma, Ms. Ruchi Mudgal,Ms Tulika Das , Ms. Shrimi Singh, Ms. Surbhi Sehgal, Dr. Yogita Sharma, Sqn Ldr. Dimple Rawat (retd.) and Ms. Shaifaly Sangal.
