The Fortunate One

Not every blessing speaks aloud
Some arrive as silent prayers
gentle care
and unseen efforts

Clouds are both white and black
yet it is the darker clouds
that bring the rain
They may hide the sun for a while
but they leave the earth
fresh, nourished, and alive

So are some people
They carry their own storms
yet become the rain
that helps others bloom

If you have such a soul in your life
hold them close.
For the quietest hearts
often leave
