Mohit Suri on ‘Saiyaara’: “This Album Holds 5 Years of My Music, Emotions & Melodies”

A Musical Treasure: ‘Saiyaara’ Title Track Unveiled
The makers have now officially released the title track of Saiyaara, which has further amplified the buzz. Director Mohit Suri shared that the album is more than just music—it's a heartfelt collection of songs, reflections, and tunes he’s gathered and nurtured over the past five years.“Not many people know this, but I’ve always had a passion for discovering fresh musical talent. Much like someone who collects books, I collect melodies,” Mohit revealed. “The songs in Saiyaara are a culmination of years of that passion—each track is handpicked, each note carries meaning.”

A Fresh Romantic Vibe
Suri explained that the vision for Saiyaara was to deliver an emotionally rich and fresh romantic album, perfectly suited for a film introducing new talent.“I wanted the album to sound as new and heartfelt as the characters in this story. Every song is special to me. The title track, especially, is filled with such intense emotion—it had me hooked from the very first listen,” he said.
Introducing New Voices from Kashmir
Adding another layer of charm, the title track also serves as a launchpad for two remarkable musicians from Kashmir—Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami. These talented composers and vocalists are being introduced to Bollywood through Saiyaara.“Faheem and Arslan are incredible artists, and I’m grateful to Tanishk Bagchi for connecting me with them,” Mohit added. “Tanishk has composed this track with his signature brilliance, while the poetic lyrics are penned by the legendary Irshad Kamil.”
New Faces, New Story
The film also marks the acting debut of Ahaan Panday, while Aneet Padda, known for her widely praised role in Big Girls Don’t Cry, plays the female lead. Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by YRF’s CEO Akshaye Widhani, Saiyaara is set for a global theatrical release on July 18, 2025.
