Concluding Ceremony of the AICTE Sponsored Virtual International Conference at IILM Lucknow

Lucknow। An AICTE-Sponsored Virtual International Conference on "Future Trends in Business: Knowledge, Skills, Sustainability, Innovation and Technology" was organized at IILM Academy of Higher Learning Lucknow, from July 27 -29, 2023.
The three-day International Conference concluded on July 29, 2023 in the presence of Chief Guest Prof. Sushil Kumar, Professor, IIM Lucknow, and Special Guest Prof. Riktesh Srivastava, Professor, City University, Ajman (UAE). The objective of the conference was to provide a research platform to academicians, industry experts, researchers, and students to discuss, present and develop new ideas on adoption of sustainable practices, emerging technologies and innovations.
A total of 58 research papers were presented in 7 technical sessions during the 3-day conference. The seven technical sessions were chaired by renowned area experts from India & abroad and were moderated by IILM Faculty Members. The Session Chairs evaluated the paper presentations and gave valuable feedback.
Dr. Naela Rushdi, Director of IILM Lucknow, delivered her welcome address, formally welcoming the Chief Guest, Special Guest, and all the participants to the Valedictory Ceremony. She commented that the past three days were very enriching and engaging.
In his Valedictory Address, Chief Guest and Keynote Speaker, Prof. Sushil Kumar, Professor, IIM Lucknow delivered his talk on the topic “Creativity and Innovation for Sustainability”. He explained that business dynamics have changed over the years and the life span of businesses has decreased primarily because they have failed to continuously adapt. He further emphasized that businesses should look towards nature for solutions in what he referred to as “Nature Inspired Innovations” and gave several interesting examples of organizations that have done just that.
The Special Guest and Keynote Speaker Prof. Riktesh Srivastava, Professor, City University, Ajman (UAE) delivered a keynote address, emphasizing the role of Technology and Innovations in transforming businesses. He elucidated that organizations should focus extensively on identifying and meeting changing customer requirements; and that they can do so more efficiently using AI, Blockchain, Cloud Computing, and Data Analytics.
On the last day of the conference, the Best Paper Awards in various tracks were announced. The Best Paper Award for Finance Track was won by Prof. Ashish Mahendra, Assistant Professor from IILM Academy of Higher Learning, Lucknow. In Marketing, the Best Paper was claimed by Ms. Sarmistha Mahanta, M.B.A. 4th Semester student from Royal School of Business, The Assam Royal Global University, Guwahati, Assam. In HR, Mr. David Nanor, Ph.D Scholar from Faculty of Management Studies, Parul University, Gujarat won the Best Paper Award while in IT/Operations, Mr. Praveen Kumar Saxena, Research Scholar from S P Jain School of Global Management received the award.
Dr. Neha Tiwari, Senior Organizing Committee Member presented the Conference Report.
In the end, Conference Convener Dr. Vibhuti Gupta, Associate Professor IILM Lucknow thanked all the dignitaries, experts, guests, participants, organizing committee members & all individuals who directly or indirectly made the International Conference a grand success.
