Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences received another shot in the arm with opening of dedicated peripheral Pharmacy store in its ‘Oncology Bhavan’

 Lucknow। The pharmacy was dedicated open to citizens of the state by the esteemed Director Prof. Sonyia Nityanand along with CMS Prof. Ajai Kumar Singh, MS Dr. Vikram Singh, HRF Chairman Dr. Mamta Harjai. The peripheral pharmacy is aimed at catering to requirements of cancer patients and the patients who visit the institute for availing CT and MRI facilities. Prior to opening of this peripheral centre patients had to visit another building for registration and receiving medicines and with the opening of the new peripheral centre, the access to medicines for chemotherapy or for CT and MRI has been eased a lot.

This is the 11th pharmacy which has been started for patients. Till now 03 pharmacy were running at hospital block, 03 at Ram Prakash Gupta Mother and Child Referral Center, shaeed path,03 in Super Speciality building and 01 at New Registration hall.
