SARASWATI DENTAL COLLEGE- CELEBRATIONS SILVER JUBILEE

Lucknow। The magnificent atmosphere of Saraswati Dental College has become wonderfully joy and filled with exceptional competitiveness in the last few days. 
With a unique aim to test the imaginative and innovation skills of students a Literary event conducted today was the *Book cover design* competition wherein two participants from  each House namely, Tagore, Raman, Krishnan and Chawla House took part.The participants unleashed their creativity by beautifully designing the book cover. Rules for book cover design included the following. 
1. Each house will be represented by only 2 participants. Only individual participation will be accepted (no teamwork).
2. The time allotted for completion was only 120 mins.
3. The theme given to them was  Saraswati Dental College " Silver Jubilee Era."
So the Participants were provided with chart paper and had to bring their own materials, sketch pens, colours, etc. and were told to create their designs for the front and back cover of the silver jubilee book. 
Scoring was being done on the aspects of justification of theme, overall creativity, depth of innovation, and overall presentation of the cover. Students perofrmed brilliantly and made some fantastic designs comprising of great ideas about every aspect of the college and silver jubilee theme.

The participants were judged on the basis of their creativity, innovation and artwork.The judges were Dr Rajat Mathur, Principal Dr KN Dubey, Cdr Sumit Ghosh and the event was conducted under the supervision of Dr.Ragini Tandon and Dr.Shailja Srivastava. The competition was closely fought.The participants that took part were -Riya,Ruchita,Injila,Kanupriya,
Gracy,Preeti,Shivangi,Insha afreen.All of the participants gave their best ,the judges had to make a tough call to decide the winners due to which they decided to re-evaluate it and announce the results in 1-2 days.The event was made successful by joint efforts of our literary head Dr.Shweta singh,literary secretary-Deepanshu chaudhary, Ramswaroop patel and joint secretaries-Pratish, injila, paridhi, shagun, ruchita along with other council members. 

 In 25 years, this organisation has grown from strength to strength and is recognized as one of the top dental institutions in India. In 2016, it became the first NAAC A accredited dental institution in Lucknow and 3rd in entire UP. The institution has been recognized as Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (SIRO) by DSIR, GoI, accredited by International Accreditation Organization (IAO) and was ranked as *Outstanding Dental College in Academics and Clinical Research” by International Education Summit & Awards in 2020. The institution was ranked 27th by NIRF in 2021 and 40th in 2023 and is now preparing for its second Cycle of NAAC due in 2023. 

The Saraswati Hospital and Research center (SHRC) is a 100 bedded multi-speciality hospital in the premises and its doctors and staff are also participating in all activities of Silver Jubilee celebrations of the organisation.
