State of Art Advanced Radiography Machine (CBCT) inaugurated at Saraswati Dental College & Hospital, Lucknow

Lucknow। Saraswati Dental College & Hospital, Lucknow inaugurated its state of art Dental Imaging Center in the Dept. of Oral Medicine & Radiology on 27th April 2023 as part of its special upgradation initiative during the ongoing Silver Jubilee Year (25 Years).

The Manorama Mathur Center for Advanced Dental Imaging was inaugurated by Madhu Mathur (Chairperson, Saraswati Group of Institutions). Dr. R.M. Mathur (Founder Principal, Saraswati Dental College & Hospital), Dr. Rajat Mathur (President, SDC&H), Smita Mathur (Director, SHRC) & Ritu Mathur (Director HR, SDC&H) , Dr. K.N. Dubey (Principal) , Dr. Pradyumna Misra (Vice-Principal), Heads of various departments and faculty members attended the grand event.

SDC&H is a highly reputed and acclaimed organization which has treated appox. 40 lakh patients since its inception in 1998. The college has most modern infrastructure & facilities for dental education, patient care & research and the installation of new Advanced Imaging Machine “Cone Beam Computed Tomography” (CBCT) takes it into an elite club of dental colleges with this facility in Uttar Pradesh. The CBCT will provide 2D and 3D scans of tooth & face thus facilitating exceptional diagnosis and treatment capability. It will enhance visualization of parts/structures of face & tooth many folds, which was earlier not possible by other conventional imaging systems.

This technology will aid in academic learning and research apart from providing quality patient care. Patients seeking best dental treatment need not look beyond Saraswati Dental College & Hospital as the institute has also announced a 50% subsidy for the first 100 patients getting the CBCT scans.
Dr. Sunira Chandra, HOD, Dept. of Oral Medicine & Radiology, faculty, PG students and staff of the department organized and coordinated this big event meticulously.
