A New Era Begins: Lucknow University Holds Its First-Ever Inter-Gender Competitions

The event was inaugurated  by Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, Vice-Chancellor of Lucknow University, at Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar Hall. The inauguration was graced by the presence of Prof. V.K. Sharma (DSW, Lucknow University), Prof. Anoop Kumar Singh (Chief Provost, Lucknow University), Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Singh (Director, New Campus, Lucknow University), and Provost of all hostels of the second campus.

The first day of the fest witnessed several competitions. As the  poster-making competition held in Lavanya Hall, Srishti Mishra from LAVANYA HALL secured the first position; Quiz Competition held in Ganga Hall,  HJB Hall secured first position ; Solo Dance Competition & Debate Competition held in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Hall, Aastha from GANGA HALL won first place in the solo dance competition & Kritika from Dr. B.R. AMBEDKAR Hall was the winner of the debate competition .

On the second day, the event marked its prestige by the presence of Prof. Menuka Khanna, Pro- Vice-Chancellor of University of Lucknow as the chief guest. The competition is as high as  the mountains in the sky. It follows Just A Minute (JAM) won by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Hall; Solo Singing won by Siddharth Singh of HJB Hall; Group Dance won by Ganga Hall;Group Singing won by HJB Hall. All events were held in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Hall.

On the third day the event gained flight with the presence of Prof. Anoop Kumar Singh (Chief Provost, Lucknow University) and  Prof. V. K. Sharma, Dean Student Welfare of Lucknow University. The  competition is like "Smell the sea and feel the sky, let your soul and spirit fly". The third day witnessed the Poetry Competition  Mushaira Competition being organised  at Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Hall.   "Viva La Fiesta" ends with the Felicitation ceremony. The Hostel Heritage Fest marks it's heritage with the Cultural Eve. The event ends with success isn't owned, it's leased. And rent is due every day.
