Airtel Partners with YouTube to Bring Premium Entertainment to Prepaid Customers
Lucknow, October 23, 2026: Airtel has partnered with YouTube to offer YouTube Premium to its prepaid customers, enhancing its digital entertainment offerings. The partnership will provide customers with an ad-free YouTube experience*, including Shorts, along with background play, offline downloads and YouTube Music Premium, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
The collaboration reflects the changing ways customers use mobile data to watch shows and movies, follow their favourite creators, listen to music and discover new content. With this partnership, Airtel aims to combine connectivity with premium entertainment services to deliver greater value to its prepaid subscribers.
YouTube Premium joins Airtel’s existing entertainment portfolio, which includes Prime Video, JioHotstar, ZEE5 Premium, SonyLIV and more than 18 other OTT platforms. These services are available through Airtel’s ₹200 OTT top-up, which also offers an additional 30GB of data.
With the addition of YouTube Premium, Airtel is expanding its prepaid entertainment proposition to cater to a wider range of digital content preferences. From streaming movies and shows to watching creator-led content and listening to music, the offering brings multiple entertainment experiences together in an affordable package.
The initiative further strengthens Airtel’s focus on developing differentiated digital services that go beyond traditional connectivity, offering customers greater convenience and everyday value through an integrated entertainment and data bundle.
The ₹200 OTT top-up is available to Airtel prepaid customers with an active recharge and can be used across existing prepaid plans. To activate the benefit, customers need to purchase the top-up and claim YouTube Premium through the ‘Rewards & OTTs’ section of the Airtel App.
The entertainment benefits will remain valid for the 28-day validity period of the top-up. Once the validity expires, customers can purchase the top-up again and reclaim the YouTube Premium benefit if they wish to continue using the service.
