Army Marksmanship Unit, Mhow signs MoU with Reliance Foundation to boost elite shooting excellence

Mumbai, 7 November 2025: In a landmark step towards strengthening India’s shooting ecosystem, the Army Marksmanship Unit (AMU), Mhow – a premier training centre under the Indian Army’s Mission Olympics Wing – has entered into its first ever corporate sports development partnership with Reliance Foundation (RF).

This collaboration will support 14 shooters currently training at AMU, including Paris Olympian Sandeep Singh and Subedar Preeti Rajak, the Indian Army’s first woman Subedar. Mrs. Nita M. Ambani, Founder Chairperson, Reliance Foundation, expressed pride over the association and said:

The partnership aims to build a strong podium pathway for the 2028 and 2032 Olympics through scholarships, advanced coaching support, sports science intervention, high performance training and international exposure opportunities.
