CM Yogi Adityanath and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Offer Prayers in Ayodhya

The two leaders first paid obeisance at Hanuman Garhi, offering prayers to Sankat Mochan Hanuman. They then proceeded to the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi complex, where they worshipped at the Shri Ram Lalla Temple and the Ram Darbar. The leaders performed the aarti, circumambulated the temple, and prayed for peace, prosperity, and the welfare of the nation and Uttar Pradesh.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Ayodhya on Wednesday morning to attend the Pratishtha Dwadashi programme. He was received at the Maharishi Valmiki International Airport by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Following the temple rituals, amid resonant chants of “Jai Shri Ram” and Vedic mantras, the Chief Minister and the Defence Minister ceremonially hoisted a religious flag atop the spire of the Maa Annapurna Temple, marking the occasion with traditional rites.

As the leaders emerged from the temple complex, devotees welcomed them with enthusiastic chants of “Jai Shri Ram.” Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath acknowledged the gathering by waving to the crowd and warmly blessing children, as an atmosphere of devotion and spiritual fervour enveloped the holy city. The visit underscored a shared commitment to faith, tradition, and public welfare, with both leaders offering prayers for harmony and well-being across the country.
