Lucknow, March 24, 2026: It was a proud and memorable moment for the students and faculty of SR Group of Institutions as its Vice Chairman, Piyush Singh Chauhan, was felicitated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for his outstanding contribution to the field of education and for leading the institution to new heights of excellence.

The honour was conferred during a समारोह held at City Montessori School, under the joint aegis of National Medicos Organisation (NMO), Awadh and Goraksh Provinces, Shri Guru Gorakhnath Seva Nyas, along with other supporting organisations.

For the past six years, these organisations have been successfully conducting the “Guru Gorakhnath Health Service Yatra” across the India–Nepal border regions. The initiative focuses on providing free healthcare services such as medical check-ups, consultations, cancer screenings, distribution of medicines, and health awareness programmes to underserved communities.

During the event, Piyush Singh Chauhan was honoured by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Krishna Gopal of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, in recognition of his significant support and exemplary work in the education sector.

This recognition has further enhanced the stature of SR Group of Institutions and served as a source of inspiration for its students, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to quality education and holistic development.

Expressing his gratitude, Piyush Singh Chauhan said, “The ‘Karyakarta Samman Samaroh’ is organised to honour the dedication, discipline, and service of doctors, volunteers, and social workers contributing to society. I feel deeply honoured to receive this recognition from Hon’ble Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Dr. Krishna Gopal Ji.”
