Cultural competence is the key skill for success in the current world order, says LU VC

Lucknow desk (R L Pandey).University of Lucknow tops among all the HEIs of Uttar Pradesh to host the ICCR students, second stands Banaras Hindu University, says ICCR sub zonal Director Arvind Kumar.
Lucknow University Hon'ble Vice Chancellor, Professor Alok Kumar Rai, emphasized the significance of elevated cultural communication in a developed society, while addressing the 75th Anniversary celebration of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations jointly organised by the ICCR and the University of Lucknow . He stated that cultural competence is the key skill for success in current world order, and mentioned that the international students on the University of Lucknow campus feel new trajectories of cultural assimilation, and develop their cultural competence.
Prof Rai highlighted the importance of fostering academic excellence, quality research, and cultural growth in any successful educational ecosystem, while sharing his vision for the international students of the University of Lucknow, that inculcates the nurturing an environment conducive to knowledge creation and intellectual exploration, reflecting the University’s motto of "light and learning. His address centring the importance of cultural communication and academic advancements, manifested his conviction of academic leadership philosophy, which prioritizes holistic development and cultural enrichment of budding human resources on academic campuses.
The programme was well attended by approximately 300 international students from approximately 50 countries.
