Pandey) – The University of Lucknow marked the successful conclusion of Dakshinapath: Samvad aur Samanvay with high-level roundtable discussions involving academic leaders from the University of Kelaniya and the University of Peradeniya, two of Sri Lanka’s leading higher education institutions. The University of Lucknow delegation was led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai.

The discussions centered on establishing robust academic collaborations. Key areas of focus included the development of joint and dual degree programs, promotion of student and faculty exchange initiatives, and sharing of institutional resources. Both Sri Lankan universities were represented by their respective Vice Chancellors, who actively participated in the dialogue.

These deliberations created a vibrant platform for the exchange of ideas and the identification of shared academic goals. Emphasizing the importance of global academic integration, Prof. Rai spoke about the transformative impact of international partnerships on higher education. He underscored the role of joint research projects, faculty mobility, and student exchange in fostering innovation and global understanding.
The representatives from the University of Kelaniya and the University of Peradeniya expressed strong interest in partnering with the University of Lucknow. They discussed leveraging each institution’s academic strengths to enhance teaching, research, and knowledge sharing.
