Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to Inaugurate Community Hub and Senior Citizen Day Care Centre in Gomti Nagar

Lucknow | April 11, 2026:In a major boost to urban infrastructure and social welfare, the Hon'ble Union Defence Minister and Lucknow MP, Shri Rajnath Singh, will today inaugurate the Laxman Mandapam Community Centreand a dedicated Day Care Centre for Senior Citizensat Vivek Khand-2, Gomti Nagar.

The projects, which also include a modern E-Library at Dev Van Nakshatra Vatika (Vineet Khand), have been developed under the Samagra Vikas Yojna.

A Landmark Event by Gomti Nagar Jan Kalyan Mahasamiti

The inauguration coincides with the Annual Day Function of the Gomti Nagar Jan Kalyan Mahasamiti, organized in strategic collaboration with the Lucknow Development Authority (LDA).

The ceremony is expected to be a high-profile gathering, graced by:

  • Shri Sudhanshu Trivedi and Shri Dinesh Sharma (Members of Rajya Sabha)

  • Shri Brajesh Pathak and Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya (Deputy Chief Ministers, UP)
