Dr. Kiran Lata Dangwal Selected for UNESCO’s International online OE4BW Program

Lucknow desk (R L Pandey).Dr. Kiran Lata Dangwal from the Department of Education, University of Lucknow has been selected for the prestigious UNESCO’s International online Open Education for a Better World (OE4BW) program.
This global initiative recognizes outstanding contributions to open education and innovative learning solutions. She expressed her gratitude to Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, acknowledging him as a constant source of motivation and inspiration in her digital initiatives.
Dr. Dangwal’s proposal was appreciated by the selection committee for its innovative approach and potential impact. As a part of the OE4BW program, She will develop a MOOC on Digital Intelligence for a Sustainable Future with her team partner Dr. Kavita and mentor Curt Newton, who is the Director of MIT OpenCourseWare (OCW).
Her project will contribute to the broader vision of accessible and inclusive education worldwide. She will present her Open Educational Resource in the month of September at EDUSCOPE 2025, an international platform for groundbreaking educational initiatives held in the Republic of Slovenia, is a country in Central Europe. Dr. Dangwal’s selection for the OE4BW program is a testament to her dedication and expertise in the field of education. Dr. Dangwal serves as the SWAYAM Coordinator at the University of Lucknow, actively promoting SWAYAM MOOC courses among students.
