Lucknow desk (R L Pandey).Legal aid centre, Faculty of law, University of Lucknow received the 'Knowledge Steez Award of Excellence for Contribution in Social Justice and Legal Aid' for their outstanding contribution in the field of legal social service on October 13, 2024. The award was presented at the 13th International Conference or Human Rights and Gender Justice, held at the Indian Society of International Law, New Delhi, organized by Knowledge Steez EDU HUB LLP.
The Legal Aid Centre successfully secured 5th position among over 31 participating colleges. This achievement was a result of the consistent efforts and unwavering support of the team Legal Aid Centre which is exhilarated by the determination to ensure "Equal Access to Justice for All" by providing free Legal Aid, promoting Legal literacy and creating socially responsible citizens.
This award was received under the supervision and guidance of Prof. (Dr.) B.D. Singh, Head and Dean, Faculty of Law, Dr. Abhishek Tiwari, Chairperson, Legal Aid Centre and Dr. Alok Kumar Yadav, Chairperson, Pro-Bono Club and other Faculty members.
