Experts shared their ideas to solve the problem of biomedical waste
Lucknow desk (R L Pandey).University environment department, KGMU has organized national conference on hospital waste management, ISHWNCON 02024, on 15-16 th Nov, 2024 in Lucknow in association with Indian Society of Hospital waste Management.
Experts from all over India attended the conferences and shared their ideas to solve the problem of biomedical waste. Mr Ed Krisinaus from WNWN organization shared solutions to common problems in hospital waste management in low resource settings. Mr Runa Oranon, Adl Director CBCB, Dr Anu Agarwal, National Consultant, WHO and Dr Uma Gangwar, NHM also shared their views and government efforts to curb the problem of hospital waste in India. The conference was attended by more than 400 delegates. Organizing team include Dr Ashok Agarwal, Dr K S Bhagotia, Dr Kirti, Dr Parvez, Dr Himanshu, Dr Pragya, Dr Geeta and Dr Ravi. Other experts involved in the conference included Dr Nitin, Dr Prashant, Dr Balendra, Dr Pradeep Srivastava, Dr Sunit Jorel and nodal officer from KGMU
