A Proud Moment for the Institution The victory is a testament to the high standards of research and development fostered at GITM. A total of four ambitious projects from the institute participated in the final event, representing diverse engineering disciplines:  Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) – 1st Position Winners  Electronics and Communication (EC)  Mechanical Engineering (ME)  Information Technology (IT) – Two Projects  From Concept to Prototype: The Journey to the Top The journey began in January 2026, when these four projects were selected among the Top 100 projects across Uttar Pradesh under the CST UP Project Grant Scheme. Being part of this elite group, the projects were fully funded by the Council to transform their innovative ideas into functional prototypes for the final competition.  Winning the top spot among the best technical minds in the state highlights the practical expertise and problem-solving capabilities of GITM students.  Management and Faculty Laud the Achievement The management of Goel Institute expressed immense pride in the students' performance. Heartiest congratulations have been extended to the winning teams and their dedicated Mentors, whose guidance played a pivotal role in refining these prototypes for the state-level stage.  This achievement not only brings laurels to the EEE department but also serves as an inspiration for the entire student community to pursue excellence in science and technology.
Lucknow: In a remarkable display of innovation and technical excellence, students from the Goel Institute of Technology and Management (GITM) have achieved a prestigious victory at the state level. A project developed by the students of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) Department secured the First Position, winning a grand cash prize of ₹1 Lakh under the Council of Science and Technology (CST), UP Project Grant Scheme 2026.
