Global Excellence Celebrated: Integral University Hosts International Graduation Day 2026

Lucknow, June 13, 2026: In a vibrant celebration of academic triumph and cultural diversity, the Directorate of International Affairs (DIA) at Integral University hosted its annual International Students' Graduation Day Ceremony 2026 at the campus's Central Auditorium.
​This year’s ceremony honored 124 graduating students representing 11 different countries, marking a significant milestone in the university's mission to foster global education.

 

 

A Diverse and Global

 


​The graduating class showcased a truly multicultural student body. While Nigeria contributed the largest cohort of graduates, there was also prominent representation from nations including Oman, Nepal, Thailand, Syria, and Sudan. These global scholars successfully completed degrees across more than 30 diverse academic disciplines, such as:

​Currently, Integral University is home to a thriving community of over 308 international students hailing from 22 countries—spanning Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East—with the largest student contingents arriving from Nigeria (134), Nepal (51), Oman (40), and Syria (22).

​During his presidential address, Prof. S.W. Akhtar shared an inspiring reflection on the university’s journey, tracing its evolution from a single visionary dream of imparting knowledge to a globally recognized institution. Extending his blessings, he reminded the graduates that no matter where their careers take them, they will always remain an indispensable part of the Integral University family.


​Following the address, formal degrees were officially conferred upon the graduates by the Controller of Examinations.  Honoring Academic Excellence Beyond the distribution of degrees, the ceremony put a special spotlight on exceptional academic performance. A total of 5 Gold Medals and 6 Silver Medals were awarded to international top achievers who demonstrated outstanding dedication and excellence in their respective fields of study.

The Directorate of International Affairs (DIA) continues to act as the backbone for global scholars at Integral University. From handling admissions, visas, and FRRO alignment to providing continuous counseling, cultural integration, and student welfare, the DIA is dedicated to enriching the international student experience while forging strategic global partnerships. The memorable day concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, followed by a commemorative group photograph and a celebratory luncheon for the new graduates, their families, and university officials.
