IHM Lucknow Best Hospitality Management Institute: In a major national recognition for hospitality education, the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Lucknow, has been conferred the prestigious "Best Hospitality Management Institute of the Year" award at the 56th Annual Convention of the Federation of Hotel & Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI).
The three-day premier hospitality summit was hosted at Taj Ganges, Varanasi, from August 21 to 23, 2026.

The 56th edition of the FHRAI National Convention was organized around the theme "Ananta Kashi: Leading the Future of Tourism through Spirit, Culture, Cuisine, and Craft."

Key Dignitaries: The award ceremony was graced by Shri Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Hon'ble Union Minister of Tourism & Culture, Government of India. Other eminent attendees included Shri Jaiveer Singh, Hon'ble Minister of Tourism & Culture, Uttar Pradesh; Shri Bhuvnesh Kumar (IAS), Central Tourism Secretary, Government of India; and Shri Gyan Bhushan (IES), CEO, NCHMCT.
