Lucknow desk (R L Pandey).Sanjay Tripathi, Additional Director General, Indian Railway Transport Management Institute, Lucknow inaugurated the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) Centre at Indian Railway Transport Management Institute, Lucknow on 03.04.2025. Books related to Vedic literature, Upanishads, Vedas and Upvedas are available at the Indian Knowledge System (IKS) Centre of the Institute.

The Ministry of Education, Government of India established a division of Indian Knowledge System (IKS) in October 2020. Its objective is to systematically transfer the ancient knowledge of India which covers various aspects of education, philosophy, science, art, culture, and life from generation to generation, in which Vedic literature, Upanishads, Vedas and Upvedas have been included in the Indian Knowledge System which form the foundation of the Indian Knowledge System.

This system will benefit the faculty members, staff of the institute and the trainee officers coming for training at the institute from the Indian Knowledge System (IKS). It is noteworthy that the institute has named all its classrooms and buildings after Indian scholars to promote the Indian Knowledge System (IKS). At the time of inauguration, all the faculty members and staff of the institute were present in traditional attire. The institute promotes Indian Knowledge System (IKS).
