The event brought together academic leaders, industry experts, and aspiring entrepreneurs to discuss strategies for building a strong innovation and startup ecosystem within educational institutions.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Nida Fatima, Hon’ble Additional Pro-Chancellor of Integral University and Executive Director of ISF-CIED, emphasized the importance of creating innovation-driven academic environments. She highlighted the need to combine experiential learning with formal education and encouraged stronger collaboration between academia and industry to nurture entrepreneurial thinking among students.
CA Mukesh Shukla, Founder and Managing Director of Samadhan, shared valuable insights into the changing startup landscape. He underlined the role of mentorship, practical exposure, and structured support systems in helping startups grow and succeed.
An interactive open house discussion was also held during the programme, allowing participants to exchange ideas on startup challenges, entrepreneurship opportunities, and industry-academia partnerships.
A major highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between ISF-CIED and IID. The agreement establishes a strategic partnership focused on startup incubation, entrepreneurship development, mentorship, and stronger industry linkages.
The collaboration is expected to open new opportunities for students through expert guidance, professional networking, and structured training programmes. It will also encourage hands-on learning, innovation-driven thinking, and the creation of scalable startup ventures.
By connecting academic knowledge with real-world industry practices, the initiative aims to improve employability, promote self-reliance, and contribute to the development of a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem within the university and beyond.
