The inaugural session on July 24 was graced by eminent academicians, including Prof. Furqan Qamar (Chief Guest), Prof. Rajiv Pandey (Former Dean & Head, Department of Statistics, University of Lucknow), and Prof. Adeel Maqbool (Vice-Dean, Faculty of Commerce), along with Prof. Syed Aqeel Ahmad (Director, HRDC) and Prof. Ethesham Ahmed (Professor, Faculty of Commerce). The session was anchored by Dr. Farhina Sardar Khan, Associate Professor & Co-Convener.
Over six days, participants engaged in two intensive sessions daily, covering the complete research workflow — from topic selection to advanced statistical analysis.
Day 1 (July 24): Prof. Rajiv Pandey introduced research types, problem identification, and the research life cycle. Dr. Zaibun Nisa demonstrated AI-based tools for literature reviews, citation management, and systematic review frameworks like PRISMA.
Day 2 (July 25): Prof. Alpana Srivastava guided participants on framing research questions, developing hypotheses, and differentiating conceptual and theoretical frameworks, followed by practical training in questionnaire design and research designs.
Day 3 (July 26): Dr. Subhash K. Yadav focused on sampling techniques, sample size determination, and data cleaning with practical exercises.
Day 4 (July 28): Dr. Urooj A. Siddiqui covered SPSS applications for pilot surveys, reliability testing, descriptive statistics, normality checks, and various statistical tests.
Day 5 (July 29): Dr. Siddiqui continued with t-tests, ANOVA, correlations, regressions, non-parametric tests, and data visualisation techniques.
Day 6 (July 30): Dr. Shailesh Kaushal introduced Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) using SmartPLS, while Prof. Masood H. Siddiqui demonstrated SEM in AMOS and discussed research ethics, DEI principles, and responsible data practices.
The valedictory session, anchored by Dr. Mansoor Elahi, featured closing remarks from Prof. Adeel Maqbool, Prof. Masood H. Siddiqui, and Prof. Ethesham Ahmad. Chief Guest Prof. Wahajul Haq (Dean, Doctoral Studies and Research) emphasized that research should extend beyond academic advancement to contribute meaningfully to society. The event concluded with certificate distribution, memento presentations, and high tea.
The workshop’s success was credited to the coordinated efforts of Co-Conveners Dr. Farheen Siddiqui and Dr. Neda Tasneem, along with the dedicated research scholar coordinators — Mr. Yatharth Kumar, Ms. Pragati Srivastava, Ms. Fouzia Fatima, Mr. Asif Ansari, and Mr. Nabeel Mujhtaba.
Participants praised “Re-Search 5.0” for its academic depth, practical orientation, and ethical focus, reaffirming Integral University’s commitment to promoting advanced, socially responsible, and impactful research.
