Integral University Hosts ‘Ride Wise, Stay Safe’ Road Safety Bootcamp
The programme commenced with student registration, followed by a welcome address by Prof. Mohammad Faisal, Professor and Head, Department of Computer Application. The session featured interactive road-safety quizzes and virtual reality-based awareness activities led by Mr. Adarsh Gupta, CEO and Founder, Triguna, along with Ms. Shivangini Singh and Ms. Sakshi Malik.
Representatives from Aavas Financiers Limited also actively participated in the programme. The team included Mr. Ayush Rajan Pandey, Branch Head, Lucknow, and Mr. Manikant Tripathi, Business Manager. As part of the safety initiative, 300 helmets were distributed among students.
Focus on Responsible Road Behaviour
The second session featured Mr. Amitabh Rai, ARTO, Barabanki, as the Chief Guest, along with Prof. Sunil Kumar, Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology.Addressing the students, the speakers highlighted the importance of following traffic regulations, exercising caution on roads and making helmet use an integral part of two-wheeler travel. Students were encouraged to adopt responsible habits not only for their own safety but also for the safety of other road users.In recognition of their contribution to the awareness initiative, Mr. Amitabh Rai and members of the Triguna team were felicitated with mementos.
Students Encouraged to Become Road Safety Ambassadors
The bootcamp concluded with a strong emphasis on making road safety a part of everyday behaviour. Students were urged to make informed decisions while travelling, follow traffic rules and encourage their peers and communities to adopt safer road practices.
The initiative underlined the importance of empowering young people to become responsible road users and ambassadors of road safety, helping build a stronger culture of safety and awareness on the roads.
