Lucknow, November 2, 2025:  Integral University, Lucknow, an institution holding a prestigious NAAC A+ grade, successfully hosted its 17th Convocation Ceremony on November 2, 2025. The event celebrated the university's ongoing commitment to nurturing knowledge, fostering innovation, and driving academic excellence among its graduating scholars.

Key Addresses and Visionary Guidance

The ceremony was presided over by Prof. Syed Waseem Akhtar, the Hon’ble Chancellor and Founder. He encouraged the graduating students to maintain focus and dedication, emphasizing that perseverance, hard work, and a positive attitude are key to achieving lasting success.

Shri Arvind Kumar Sharma, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister for Urban Development & Energy, Government of Uttar Pradesh, attended as the Chief Guest.

  • Minister's Commendation: Shri Sharma praised the university for its dedication to delivering quality education and promoting Indian values. He highlighted India's historic role as a global center of learning and referenced the Hon'ble Prime Minister's vision for national growth, expressing confidence that India is on its path to becoming a world-leading economy.

  • Pro-Chancellor's Emphasis on Compassion: Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor, Dr. Syed Nadeem Akhtar, encouraged students to strive for professional excellence while remaining humble, compassionate, and empathetic. He stressed that while degrees are significant, being affectionate, caring, and uplifting toward others is paramount.

Honours and Academic Achievement

The Convocation Address was delivered by the Guest of Honour, Shri Nasser Munjee, Chairman of MMTC PAMP and ARKA FinCap.: Shri Munjee spoke about the tectonic shift in global geopolitics, noting BRICS' rise as a powerhouse and emphasizing India's position as the world's fifth-largest economy. He urged students to remain curious, committed, and continue learning to help India become a global power within the next decade. The University conferred the prestigious degree of Doctor of Literature (D.Litt. Honoris Causa) upon Shri Nasser Munjee in recognition of his outstanding contributions to finance, infrastructure, and social development.  Prof. Javed Musarrat, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, presented the annual report, reiterating the University’s dedication to providing holistic, forward-looking, and high-quality education that nurtures critical thinking, moral integrity, and sustainable technological advancement.

The event saw the presence of Hon’ble Additional Pro-Chancellors Mr. Syed Adnan Akhtar, Mr. Syed Fauzan Akhtar, Dr. Nida Fatima, and Prof. Abdul Rahman Khan, Controller of Examinations. The vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Mohammad Haris Siddiqui, Registrar, and Prof. Saba Siddiqui conducted the proceedings.
