Lucknow, February 25 – Integral University organized a highly impactful symposium on "Newer Trends and Challenges in Community Health Nursing" at its campus, hosted by the Integral Institute of Nursing Science and Research (IINSR), Faculty of Nursing, in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences.

The event brought together healthcare professionals, educators, and students to discuss innovative approaches and share insights aimed at improving community healthcare.

The symposium began with an offline registration session, followed by a scientific paper presentation moderated by Mrs. Manisha Chaube, Associate Professor at IINSR. The inaugural session commenced at 10:00 AM with the traditional Lamp Lighting Ceremony, symbolizing wisdom and enlightenment.

The ceremony was graced by key dignitaries, including Prof. (Dr.) Annie Chandra S., Dean of IINSR, who welcomed attendees and highlighted the significance of community health nursing in today’s dynamic healthcare landscape.
Notable guests included Mr. Nimit Sharma from UPSMF, Dr. Umesh Chandra Pandey, Senior Administrative Officer at UPSMF, and Dr. Neetu Devi, Nursing Consultant at UPSMF. Their speeches provided valuable insights into the future of community health nursing.
The event’s chief patron, Syed M. Fauzan Akhtar, Executive Director of Integral University, along with co-patrons Prof. (Dr.) Abha Chandra, Prof. (Dr.) Khaleel Ahmed Manik, Dr. Syed Belal Hassan, and Prof. (Dr.) Ashfaque Khan, emphasized the university's commitment to advancing medical and nursing education.
The symposium featured several enriching sessions, including topics like "Integrated Care System and Nurses' Leadership," "Evaluation of Care and Nursing Moving with the Patient," and "Using Virtual Simulation to Teach Community Health Nursing." The event also included interactive scientific paper presentations, cultural performances, and discussions focused on challenges faced by community health workers.
