Lucknow | April 18, 2026: The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Integral University, Lucknow, successfully concluded a high-profile two-day National Seminar on “Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s Vision and India’s Journey Towards Viksit Bharat.” Held on April 15–16, 2026, the seminar was conducted in hybrid mode at the university’s Central Auditorium, drawing significant academic attention from across the country.

Inaugural Session and Academic Keynotes

The seminar opened with a powerful inaugural session featuring Prof. Ananya Vajpeyi (CSDS, New Delhi) as the keynote speaker. Her address set a scholarly tone for the event, focusing on the intellectual legacy of Babasaheb Ambedkar.

The session was further enriched by a special address from Prof. Manuka Khanna, Former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lucknow. The Presidential Address was delivered by Prof. Furqan Qamar, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Integral University, who emphasized the university's commitment to fostering dialogue on social justice and national development.

The second day featured a prestigious special lecture by Prof. Arvinder A. Ansari, Secretary of the Indian Sociological Society and Professor at Jamia Millia Islamia. Her insights into the sociological aspects of Ambedkar’s vision added immense depth to the ongoing academic deliberations.

The two-day event saw a massive turnout, with over 100 scholars, faculty members, and students from various parts of India participating. Research papers were presented in both online and offline modes, covering a diverse spectrum of themes:
