Integral University Hosts One-Week Capacity Building Program on Viksit Bharat@2047

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Integral University, in collaboration with the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), Integral University, inaugurated a one-week Capacity Building Program titled “Bridging Tradition and Technology: Transforming Higher Education for Viksit Bharat@2047” on Monday at the Central Auditorium of the university.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by renowned academicians Prof. Furqan Qamar, Prof. Syed Aqeel Ahmad, Prof. Zeba Aqil, and Dr. Vinay Kumar, who addressed the gathering and emphasized the critical need to integrate India’s rich intellectual and cultural traditions with emerging technologies to realize the national vision of Viksit Bharat@2047. The speakers underlined the role of higher education institutions in shaping an inclusive, innovative, and knowledge-driven future for the country.
The first day of the program featured two insightful academic sessions. The session on “Understanding Viksit Bharat@2047” was delivered by Dr. Vinay Kumar (Banaras Hindu University), while the second session on “Philosophy of Indian Knowledge System (IKS)” was presented by Prof. A. K. Sharma (IIT Kanpur). Both sessions generated meaningful academic discussions and encouraged participants to critically engage with contemporary educational challenges and indigenous knowledge frameworks.
The sessions were smoothly coordinated by Dr. Anshal Ali Tiger, Dr. Pallavi, and Dr. Jyotsana Shukla, ensuring active participation and effective academic exchange.
More than 80 participants from prominent national and international institutions attended the inaugural day, including AMU, BHU, University of Delhi, Jamia Millia Islamia, JNU, Allahabad University, Amity University, BBAU, GLS University, and Kardan University (Afghanistan), among others.
The successful commencement of the program set a strong academic tone for the week-long initiative, aimed at capacity building and reimagining higher education in alignment with India’s developmental aspirations for 2047.
