Integral University Launches Week-Long Faculty Development Programme on Pedagogical Innovation, Research, and Communication
 
Lucknow, July 7, 2025:  Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), Integral University, Lucknow,  inaugurated a week-long Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from July 5–10, 2025, focused on enhancing pedagogical strategies, research capabilities, and professional communication skills among its faculty members. Prof. Syed Waseem Akhtar, Hon’ble Founder & Chancellor and chief patron of the programme, emphasized the critical role of educators in shaping students into ethical and responsible professionals.

Lucknow, July 7, 2025: Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), Integral University, Lucknow,  inaugurated a week-long Faculty Development Programme (FDP) from July 5–10, 2025, focused on enhancing pedagogical strategies, research capabilities, and professional communication skills among its faculty members. Prof. Syed Waseem Akhtar, Hon’ble Founder & Chancellor and chief patron of the programme, emphasized the critical role of educators in shaping students into ethical and responsible professionals.



Prof. M.P. Gupta, Director, IIM Lucknow and chief guest of the session, highlighted the importance of ethical and rigorous research in fostering problem-solving and nation-building capabilities. Delivering the keynote address, Prof. Javed Musarrat, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, discussed the strategic implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and reiterated the University’s commitment to holistic and inclusive education. Prof. Furqan Qamar, Chief Advisor to the Hon’ble Chancellor and renowned academician, stressed the need for a robust teaching-learning-examination ecosystem to achieve academic excellence.


The inaugural session also featured insights from co-patrons Mr. Syed Fauzan Akhtar (Executive Director, IIMSR), Mr. Adnan Akhtar (Executive Director, International Affairs), and guest of honour Mr. Syed Mahmood Akhtar, former IRS. Prof. Syed Aqeel Ahmad, Director, HRDC, delivered the welcome address. The first day of the FDP highlighted the pedagogical innovation and modern assessment practices, including flipped learning, heutagogy, project-based learning, and rubric-based evaluation—offering engaging and practical solutions for educators.


Over the course of the programme, participants will delve into outcome-based education (OBE), classroom engagement strategies, curriculum design, academic supervision, and project evaluation. Advanced sessions will address research proposal development, statistical analysis tools, AI-integrated research practices, ethical publication standards, and effective academic communication—empowering faculty with key leadership

competencies. The initiative brings together renowned scholars and experts from prestigious institutions such as Lady Shri Ram College (Delhi University), Aligarh Muslim University, Lucknow University, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Jaipuria Institute of Management, and Elsevier Research Journals. Integral University reaffirms its commitment to academic excellence and faculty empowerment through continuous and structured professional development initiatives.
