Integral University Organizes National Workshop on "Learner-Centric Education through MOOCs: GenAI"

The Department of Humanities & Social Sciences at Integral University, in association with the Human Resource Development Centre, successfully hosted a two-day National Workshop and Training Program titled "Learner-Centric Education through MOOCs: GenAI" on August 6–7, 2025. The event was conducted in a hybrid format, enabling participation both online and offline.

The primary objective of the workshop was to delve into the evolving role of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in reshaping higher education through a learner-focused approach, in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

Over 100 participants—including faculty members, research scholars, and students from diverse academic institutions—actively engaged in the sessions. The highlight of the program was the insightful lectures delivered by Prof. S.M. Khan, a distinguished academician from Aligarh Muslim University, who served as the Resource Person. His sessions emphasized the integration of AI tools in digital learning, strategies to boost learner engagement, and techniques for personalized content delivery in MOOCs.
The workshop featured interactive discussions, practical demonstrations, and meaningful feedback, fostering a collaborative learning environment for all attendees.
