ISF, Integral University Partners with South Korea’s Clupea Inc. to Boost Research and Startup Ecosystem

The Integral Startups Foundation (ISF) of Integral University, Lucknow, has taken a significant step toward strengthening its global academic and innovation footprint by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Clupea Inc., South Korea. This international collaboration aims to promote joint initiatives in research advancement, technological innovation, commercialization of ideas, and the development of a robust startup ecosystem.

In a move that further highlights the continuity of this partnership, Clupea India Private Limited has been successfully incubated at ISF, reinforcing long-term Indo–Korean cooperation.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Nida Fatima, Additional Pro-Chancellor, Integral University, and Executive Director, ISF, shared the broader vision behind the agreement.

She highlighted that the collaboration is focused on generating sustainable and future-ready outcomes by encouraging translational research, industry-linked innovation, and international exposure for students, researchers, and emerging entrepreneurs. The initiative is expected to play a vital role in connecting academic research with practical, real-world solutions.

Adding intellectual value to the event, an Expert Lecture titled “Hypothesis to Impact: Rethinking Research Beyond Papers” was delivered by Dr. Mohammad Hassan Baig, Chief Technical Officer (CTO), BNJ Biopharma Inc., South Korea, on January 27, 2026.
The lecture motivated participants to rethink traditional research approaches and emphasized the importance of developing scalable, market-oriented innovations, demonstrating how scientific concepts can be transformed into solutions with tangible societal and commercial impact.
