Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC), University of Lucknow & UGC to Host Online Short-Term Course on Universal Human Values

Lucknow desk (R L Pandey).The University of Lucknow, in collaboration with the University Grants Commission (UGC), is set to organize a six-day Online Short-Term Course (STC) on Universal Human Values (UHV) from March 17 to March 22, 2025. The program is being organized by the Malaviya Mission Teacher Training Centre (MMTTC) under its initiatives to promote value-based education with Director MMTTC Prof Kamal Kumar and Dr Manisha Shukla as organisers of program
The inaugural session, scheduled for March 17 at 10:30 AM, will be held under the leadership of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Prof. Alok Kumar Rai. The event will have Prof. M. Jagadesh Kumar Mamidala, Chairman, UGC, as the Chief Guest, along with senior officials from UGC, AICTE, and NCCIP as key speakers.
The course will focus on the integration of Universal Human Values in education, aligning with UGC’s initiatives to foster ethical, moral, and holistic learning. Discussions will cover strategies to incorporate human values into academics and professional teaching practices.
With experts from regulatory bodies like AICTE and NCCIP, the event is expected to provide valuable insights for faculty members, researchers, and students across the country. This initiative highlights UGC’s commitment to value-based education and strengthens Lucknow University’s role as a leader in academic excellence.
