Medanta Hospital has launched a special free OPD service for senior citizens at the Second Innings Senior Citizens Club in Ashiyana. The initiative aims to provide elderly residents with easy access to experienced doctors close to their homes, reducing the inconvenience of traveling to hospitals for routine consultations.

Senior Physician Dr. Mahim Mittal will offer medical consultations during the OPD sessions. Dr. Mittal brings more than 25 years of experience in the field of medicine and has been actively involved in the treatment of complex health conditions. The free OPD will be organized on the first Wednesday of every month from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Speaking about the initiative, Dr. Mahim Mittal said that the objective is to ensure timely medical guidance and proper healthcare support for senior citizens. He noted that aging often brings multiple health challenges, which can be managed more effectively through regular check-ups and expert consultation. According to him, such community-based OPDs help make specialized healthcare services more accessible and convenient for elderly patients.

Founder of the Second Innings Senior Citizens Club, Atul Dubey, said that initiatives like this are extremely important for senior citizens, as many elderly people face difficulties in reaching hospitals. He added that the service will not only increase health awareness among senior citizens but could also prove life-saving during emergencies. He also expressed gratitude to Medanta on behalf of the club members for launching the initiative. The free OPD is being conducted at 1289, Sector K, Ashiyana, Lucknow, where senior citizens can conveniently visit and seek expert medical advice regarding their health concerns.
