Noida Engineer Death Case :  In the case of the death of engineer Yuvraj Mehta in Noida, the deceased’s father, Rajkumar Mehta, has expressed satisfaction over the swift action taken by the Yogi Adityanath government. He said that the constitution of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) has restored his faith in the justice system and given him hope that his son will receive justice.

Rajkumar Mehta stated that he is confident the truth will come out through a fair investigation and that his son’s soul will attain peace. He also expressed his desire to meet Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, saying that such a meeting would give him mental peace. According to him, the state government has assured the family of full cooperation in the matter.

The Chief Minister had taken cognizance of the incident on Monday and directed immediate and strict action. Acting on his instructions, a three-member SIT has been constituted under the leadership of the Additional Director General (ADG), Zone Meerut. The team has been tasked with completing the investigation within five days and submitting its report directly to the Chief Minister.

Meanwhile, the police have taken decisive action in the case. On Tuesday, builder Abhay Kumar was arrested. Abhay Kumar, CEO of real estate firm MZ Viztown Planners Limited, has been named as the main accused. The arrest was made based on an FIR registered under serious sections, including negligence, culpable homicide not amounting to murder, and acts endangering human life.

In addition to police action, the Yogi government has also initiated strict administrative measures. The Chief Executive Officer of the Noida Authority has been removed from his post. Earlier, Traffic Cell Junior Engineer Naveen Kumar was dismissed from service with immediate effect.

Rajkumar Mehta also confirmed that necessary security arrangements have been put in place at the incident site to prevent any recurrence of such an incident, expressing hope that the investigation will lead to accountability and justice.
