Ohana: Study Hall Kanpur Road children raise awareness about Climate Crisis
Lucknow desk (R L Pandey). Study Hall Kanpur Road celebrated its Annual Theme, "Ohana Means Family," with a powerful cultural event dedicated to raising awareness about the climate crisis and inspiring action to save the planet.

The principal, Suparna Chatterjee, welcomed the audience and explained the theme of "Ohana." She said, “Ohana means family, and family means no one is left behind. At Study Hall, we believe in the collective responsibility of schools, families, and communities to raise children who are not only responsible individuals but also stewards of our planet. Together, we are committed to creating a sustainable and just future.”

The event featured vibrant performances, including African dances, soulful songs, and thought-provoking dramas—all centered on the urgent need to combat climate change. Students used their creativity to highlight issues such as deforestation, pollution, and global warming, while emphasizing actionable solutions like tree planting, waste reduction, and renewable energy.

One of the standout performances was a powerful drama that depicted the consequences of inaction on climate change and urged the audience to take immediate steps to protect the Earth.

The evening concluded with a vote of thanks by the principal and national anthem.
