The celebration began with the traditional lamp-lighting, followed by a warm welcome address by Principal Dr. Kunal Sah. Master of Ceremony Dr. Ayushi Pandey, Junior Resident at SDC, conducted the proceedings with elegance. A short audio-visual presentation traced the achievements of the institution and highlighted the visionary contributions of Founder Chairman Col. T. S. Mathur.
A wave of excitement swept through the audience as the introduction of Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla—affectionately known as SHUX—was announced. Joining live via video conference along with Coordinator Cdr Sumit Ghosh (Advisor NAAC), SHUX delivered an inspiring and deeply insightful address. He shared stories from his journey, encouraged students to think innovatively about dental practices in space, and emphasized the importance of discipline, determination, and continuous hard work. Reflecting on the view of Earth from space, he described it as humanity’s “beautiful, sweet home,” urging everyone to uphold unity, peace, and collective responsibility toward the planet. His words left a lasting impact on the gathering.
The cultural segment of the program showcased a vibrant blend of music, dance, and fashion. This was followed by an address from Ms. Archana Sardana—India’s pioneering woman BASE jumper, mountaineer, SCUBA diver, and skydiver. She narrated her adventurous life journey, stressing that courage, leadership, risk-taking, and the willingness to explore beyond comfort zones define true adventurism. She encouraged students to experience SCUBA diving as a powerful confidence-building activity.
In their address, the President of SDC&H and Chief Guest Dr. Rizvi congratulated the institution for hosting a well-executed, high-energy celebration. They urged students to embrace new challenges and work towards ambitious dreams, reaffirming the institution’s dedication to excellence and service in healthcare.
The felicitation segment honoured outstanding achievers for the year 2025. The prestigious Saraswati Ratan Award was conferred upon Sahil Agrawal (Batch 2021) for exceptional academic excellence. Awards in other key categories were presented as follows:
