SBI Ladies’ Club, Lucknow Circle Extends Support to Drishti Samajik Sansthan

Lucknow Desk (Pratyush Pandey) – The State Bank of India Ladies’ Club, Lucknow Circle, organized a community service initiative on 17th August 2025 at Drishti Samajik Sansthan, Lucknow.

Drishti Samajik Sansthan is home to nearly 260 children with special needs, providing them residential care along with training in various life and vocational skills. The institution is dedicated to empowering children with physical and multiple disabilities.

During the program, Mrs. Sreedevi Surya, President of Pan India SBI Ladies’ Club, along with Mrs. Poonam Tewari, Vice President, and Mrs. Rituparna De, President of the Lucknow Circle, handed over essential items including ceiling fans, sewing machines, pico machines, washing machines, and geysers. These contributions are intended to improve the living conditions and skill-development facilities for the children.
Addressing the gathering, Mrs. Sreedevi Surya reaffirmed the commitment of SBI Ladies’ Club towards supporting organizations that bring positive change in the lives of differently-abled individuals. “Our effort today is a small step to enhance the comfort and well-being of these children,” she noted.
Expressing heartfelt gratitude, Shri Dhiresh Bahadur, President of Drishti Samajik Sansthan, appreciated the club’s generosity and assured that the donated items would greatly benefit the children. The students of the institution warmly welcomed the guests and shared their happiness at receiving the support.
The event was graced by other members of SBI Ladies’ Club and Drishti Samajik Sansthan, making it a memorable occasion of service and solidarity.
