SBI “Ladies’ Club”, Lucknow Circle, Organizes Community Service Program at Chetna Sansthan

Lucknow, 19 July 2025:
The State Bank of India “Ladies’ Club”, Lucknow Circle, organized a heartfelt community service program at Chetna Sansthan, Lucknow, an institution dedicated to the care and development of children with special needs.

 

Chetna Sansthan currently houses and supports around 120 children with physical and multiple disabilities, providing them with accommodation and training in various vocational and life skills.

In the august presence of Mrs. Sreedevi Surya, President, Pan-India SBI “Ladies’ Club”, and Mrs. Rituparna De, President, SBI “Ladies’ Club”, Lucknow Circle, the Club extended its support to the institution by donating essential equipment and resources. The contributions included CP chairs, yoga mats, plastic chairs, PT drum, racing cycles, foam mattresses, musical instruments, and a projector, all aimed at enhancing the learning experience and comfort of the children at the Sansthan.
Speaking on the occasion, Mrs. Sreedevi Surya reaffirmed the commitment of the SBI “Ladies’ Club” towards supporting institutions that make a lasting difference in the lives of individuals with special needs. She remarked, “Our contribution today is a step towards empowering these children by enriching their environment, helping them realize their full potential.”
Shri Dinesh Pratap Singh, Secretary, and Ms. Meena Tiwari, Principal of Chetna Sansthan, expressed deep gratitude to the SBI “Ladies’ Club” for their thoughtful and generous support. The children warmly welcomed the visiting members and joyfully received the donated materials.
The event was attended by several members of the SBI “Ladies’ Club” and staff from Chetna Sansthan, marking a memorable day of empathy, encouragement, and community engagement.
