LUCKNOW: Reaffirming its core values of social responsibility and community welfare, the State Bank of India (SBI) continues its efforts to uplift the vulnerable sections of society. In line with this commitment, the SBI Ladies Club, Lucknow Circle organized a donation drive today at the old age home in Sarojini Nagar, run by the Sarvajanik Shikshonnayan Sansthan. Under the Bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the club distributed critical daily-use equipment to ensure the physical comfort and mental well-being of the elderly residents.

Enhancing Comfort: Major Items Donated

To make the daily lives of the senior citizens more comfortable, the club provided a comprehensive suite of utilities:

  • Cooling & Ventilation: Water coolers, desert coolers, and ceiling fans to beat the summer heat.

  • Hygiene & Utility: Washing machines and water geysers.

  • Rest & Infrastructure: Wooden planks (Takhat) for better living arrangements.
